1. Students will need their own copy of The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien starting today, Monday, September 30. It is critical that each student have their own copy, as we will continue to make detailed annotations in their books, and there will be several assignments to read chapters for homework. The ISBN number is: 978-0345339683
2. This week your child will be assigned the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World Project in history class. This is a long-term research project that will involve work in class and at home. Please see the project guidelines sent home with your student for more information on the project.
